Automatic Control Valves serve many functions in a distribution system or treatment plant. This class will provide an in depth look at the principles of operation as well some basic maintenance and troubleshooting tips.

The Total Coliform Rule and Revisions
Steven Palmer - RCAC
The revised Total Coliform Rule, effective in 2016, will radically affect the way that water systems are required to respond to positive bacteriological samples. Participants will review current TCR requirements explore the upcoming changes. It’s never too early to plan ahead for compliance with the revised rule.

CSE: Confined Space Entry
Lynn Flint - United Rentals
CSE training includes coverage of 29 CFR 1910.146 confined space standards. The standard states that the employer shall provide training so that all employees whose work is regulated by this section acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this section. This training will cover confined space hazards, along with information on gas monitors, ventilation, tripods/winches/harnesses, personal protective equipment, lock-out/tag-out, and the duties of entrants, attendants and supervisors.
